What is the Bishopsteignton Probus club?

We are a welcoming club for retired men and those approaching retirement, normally meeting in a relaxed atmosphere providing fellowship and the perfect opportunity to meet new friends. However discussions are proceeding with those interested to form an independent Bishopsteignton Ladies Probus Club.

Whilst there are COVID restrictions in place we are pleased to advise that we have been able to meet virtually using ZOOM, coming together on Tuesday mornings, twice a month. We organise for a variety of quality and interesting speakers to present in the Zoom meetings which normally last about an hour including questions from the audience.

'When there are no restrictions on meeting in groups we meet in person fortnightly at the Community Centre from September to May. Also we have club lunches at Christmas and June and visits to places of interest. Members’ wives/partners are very welcome to join these events
