New Team Vicar

On Tuesday 25 June, Revd Jane Frost was licensed by Rt Revd Jackie Searle, Bishop of Crediton as the Team Vicar for the Haldon Mission Community (covering the churches in Bishopsteignton, Ashcombe, Ideford, Luton and Teignmouth) together with her husband, Richard as Team Reader. Also present were Revd Roderick Withnell, Team Rector and Revd Dallas Ayling, Rural Dean together with representatives of the six church, the local community and friends and family of Jane & Richard.

Revd Jane was Curate in the Totnes Team until last month and prior to ordination was a Secondary School English Teacher and School Chaplain in Exeter. Until December, Richard worked as an Employment Specialist for the NHS helping people with mental health conditions to find or remain in work. Richard was appointed as a MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2018 for services to mental health. He writes a blog at workrestpray.com. Jane and Richard are living at The Vicarage in Moors Park.
