Bishopsteignton Allotments

Allotment gardening is becoming increasingly popular. There is now much more awareness of the benefits this type of activity can bring to our lives. Allotments are key contributors to healthier lifestyles from increased physical activity and social interaction. With the bonus of providing an affordable source of freshly grown fruit and vegetables. It also gives an increased awareness of nature, what is around us and responsibility in our community, hopefully with a desire to live more sustainably.

What we offer, when available:

Full plots, half plots and access to volunteer on our thriving community plot.
Healthier diet, physical activity, saving money and linked environmental impacts…i.e. reduced carbon emissions.
Help, support and advice if required.
Work day activities organised to maintain the site generally, with food and fun!

Michaels Field is an allotment site for residents of the village. It is set in a beautiful area, with great views of both the river and our village. We have a small waiting list for plots.

If you would like to join Bishopsteignton Allotments and go on the waiting list for a plot of your own please contact  [email protected] or [email protected]
