PROBUS CLUB CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Over eighty members of Bishopsteignton Probus Club and their wives/partners enjoyed a four-course Christmas Lunch at the Cockhaven Arms, Bishopsteignton.   Members collectively felt the restaurant staff had made a tremendous effort to make this the best lunch. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was tremendous, with everybody having a wonderful time.

The Lunch was organised by Social Secretary Peter Hartley and his wife Linda. They were thanked by chairman Baz Carpenter who informed the gathering that Peter joined the Probus Club recently and immediately agreed to organise the lunch, although Peter admitted that at every stage his wife Linda had played a major role.

Several other club members were also thanked by the chairman, who had only recently taken over as club chairman.
