Your Pharmacy – Your Choice

Many of us have again received unsolicited mail from an organisation called Pharmacy 2U.

Enquiries via our MP have established that this is a credible commercial operation although not directly sponsored by NHS as their literature might imply.

The choice, as always, is yours however before signing up to what appears to be a very convenient service please consider the following.

1) A long term effect of signing up to this organisation could result in losing the Pharmacy & Post Office from our village.

2) Pharmacy2Uoffers repeat prescriptions, where would you go for the initial supply?

3) Who would you contact for advice on your prescription if Alison was no longer available?

4) During last winters “Beast from the East” prescriptions were delivered all around our village to people in need that could not get to Fore Street. That facility would not be available from a distant operation such as Pharmacy2U.

Please think carefully before making any decision.

The sole beneficiary of my Pharmacy2Uletter will be Paperchase at the end of the month!
