What is the Bishopsteignton Probus club?

The Bishopsteignton Probus Club (Mens) is a welcoming club for retired men and those approaching retirement, meeting in a relaxed atmosphere providing fellowship and the perfect opportunity to meet new friends.

We meet together on Tuesday mornings, twice a month, from September to May, at the Cockhaven Arms. We organise for a variety of quality and interesting speakers to present in the meetings which normally last about an hour including questions from the audience.

We also have club lunches at Christmas and in June and visits to places of interest. Members’ wives/partners are very welcome to join these events

A very good way to find out if you would like to become a member is to join one of our meetings, without obligation as a guest of the club.

Potential members are encouraged to find out more about the club by speaking to existing members including our:

Chairman – David Carpenter-Clawson
